{"id":264,"date":"2015-08-08T17:53:48","date_gmt":"2015-08-08T15:53:48","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/francescodillon.com\/wordpress\/?p=264"},"modified":"2026-08-08T04:22:38","modified_gmt":"2026-08-08T02:22:38","slug":"music-in-the-mountains","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/francescodillon.com\/wordpress\/?p=264","title":{"rendered":"music in the mountains"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Each summer we, the musicians, are a little shocked from the first outdoor concerts of the season..Acoustics are difficult, the wind messes up the parts, the mosquitos are flying right around your fingers..Last Sunday though, I had the great pleasure and the unfortunately too rare occasion, to play in a wonderful setting surrounded by nature. &nbsp;All my preconceptions were &nbsp;overturned right away. &nbsp;The occasion was given by the opening concert of the &#8220;young&#8221; but already relevant festival <em>Le voci dalla montagna<\/em>, now at its 4th edition, in Pescasseroli and occurs in the wonderful space of the Parco Nazionale d&#8217;Abruzzo, Lazio e Molise. &nbsp;The setting was just made of grass, rocks, trees. Wind was blowing and environmentals sounds improvised a dialogue with my cello&#8230;a baby crying, cows&#8217;s bells&#8230; A wonderful experience to be repeted soon!<\/p>\n<p>When planning concerts and other large events, fire safety is crucial to help protect attendees, staff, and property.
