Really happy and proud to play the premiere of the new cello concerto (if we want to call it according to old definitions…) BRUNNEN by the great composer Carola Bauckholt. It is dedicated to me and I’m very proud to contribute somehow to new ,great works for my instrument.
It is a wonderful piece: very experimental , noisy , beautiful and touching , funny and ironical , scary and dark …. It has many different layers and colours as it happens with good music from any time and period…
it will be the opening concert of the important Klangspuren Festival and I will be playing with the brilliant Tiroler Symphonieorchester Innsbruck conducted by the excellent Johannes Kalitzke ! I ‘ll post the recording as soon as possible
